Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

& Clinical Director

Hi, I’m Stephanie

Most of us reach a point where the ways we’ve learned to cope, the ways we show up for others, handle stress, or manage our emotions, simply stop working. You might find yourself exhausted by workplace pressures, overwhelmed by the echoes of past trauma, or feeling disconnected in your most important relationships. Whether you are navigating a major life transition or struggling with the weight of anxiety, I’m glad you’re here.

My Approach

I believe therapy is a collaborative journey of curiosity. My style is rooted in warmth and gentleness, creating a safe space where you can untangle complex feelings without judgment. While I provide a soft place to land, I also believe in the power of a compassionate challenge. Together, we will look at the patterns and "autopilot" responses that may have protected you in the past but are now holding you back from the life you want.

What we’ll work towards

Our work isn't just about managing symptoms; it’s about reclaiming your sense of self. Whether we are untangling relationship dynamics with partners and family, navigating social anxiety, or building a toolkit for emotional regulation, my goal is for you to leave our sessions feeling more equipped and more "you."

A little about me

I am a therapist because I truly believe in the human capacity for healing and change. I show up to our sessions with a genuine interest in your story and a commitment to walking alongside you as you find your footing again.

Areas of Specialization

Evidence-Based Therapeutic Approaches:

  • CBT focuses on the connection between our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns and develop practical tools to shift them, helping you feel more balanced and in control in daily life.

  • ACT helps you build a different relationship with difficult thoughts and feelings. Instead of fighting them, you learn how to make space for them while taking meaningful action aligned with your values.

  • EMDR is a structured therapy that helps process and reduce the emotional intensity of distressing memories. It supports the brain in reprocessing experiences so they feel less overwhelming and disruptive.

  • DBT combines acceptance and change. It teaches skills for managing intense emotions, improving relationships, tolerating distress, and staying present in the moment.

  • Psychodynamic therapy explores how past experiences and unconscious patterns may be influencing your present relationships, emotions, and sense of self. It focuses on deepening insight and understanding long-standing patterns.

  • Prolonged Exposure helps reduce trauma-related fear and avoidance by gradually and safely approaching difficult memories or situations. Over time, this process can help reduce distress and increase a sense of control.
